I'm a Biker

Riding with Purpose, Living with Honor

"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters." — Colossians 3:23

Biker (noun)

More than just someone who rides a motorcycle - a biker is someone who embraces the lifestyle, values, and brotherhood of the motorcycle community. As Christian bikers, we carry the added responsibility of representing Christ in everything we do.

The Biker Code

Respect

Respect is the foundation of biker culture. We respect other riders, regardless of what they ride or what club they belong to. We respect the road, the law, and the communities we ride through.

As Christian bikers, we extend this respect to everyone we meet, treating each person as someone created in God's image and worthy of dignity and kindness.

Loyalty

Bikers are loyal to their brothers and sisters. We stand by each other through thick and thin, supporting one another in good times and bad.

Our ultimate loyalty is to Christ, but this doesn't diminish our commitment to our riding family. We can be loyal to both our faith and our brotherhood.

Honor

Honor means doing the right thing, even when no one is watching. It means keeping your word, being honest, and standing up for what's right.

As Christian bikers, our honor comes from living according to God's standards, not just the world's. We're called to a higher standard of integrity and character.

Brotherhood

The bond between bikers is like family. We look out for each other, help when needed, and share in each other's joys and struggles.

This brotherhood is a reflection of the family we have in Christ. We're called to love one another as brothers and sisters in faith, extending this love to all riders.

Freedom

Motorcycles represent freedom - the freedom to go where you want, when you want, and how you want. But true freedom comes with responsibility.

As Christian bikers, we understand that true freedom is found in Christ. We're free from sin and death, but we're also free to serve God and others.

Responsibility

With the freedom of riding comes great responsibility. We're responsible for our safety, the safety of others, and how we represent the biker community.

As Christian bikers, we have the added responsibility of representing Christ. Every ride is an opportunity to show others what it means to follow Jesus.

Motorcycle Club Rules & Ethics

These are the fundamental rules that govern biker culture and behavior. As Christian bikers, we follow these rules while also living according to biblical principles.

Safety First

Always wear proper safety gear, maintain your bike, and ride within your limits. Your safety and the safety of others is paramount.

Respect All Riders

Respect every rider, regardless of what they ride, how they ride, or what club they belong to. We're all part of the same community.

Follow the Law

Obey traffic laws and regulations. Breaking the law reflects poorly on all bikers and can endanger others.

Help Fellow Riders

Always stop to help a stranded rider. This is an unwritten rule that's been part of biker culture for generations.

Represent the Community

Remember that your actions reflect on all bikers. Be a positive representative of the motorcycle community.

Respect the Colors

Respect other clubs' colors and patches. Don't wear colors you haven't earned or don't belong to.

Respect Communities

When riding through towns and neighborhoods, be respectful. Keep noise levels reasonable and follow local customs.

Mentor New Riders

Help new riders learn the ropes. Share your knowledge and experience to help them become better, safer riders.

Ministry Responsibilities

As members of a Christian motorcycle ministry, we have additional responsibilities to represent Christ in the biker community and the world.

Live as Examples

Our lifestyle should reflect our faith. We're called to be examples of Christ's love, grace, and truth in everything we do.

  • Maintain integrity in all relationships
  • Show love and compassion to others
  • Live with honesty and transparency
  • Demonstrate forgiveness and grace

Share the Gospel

We're called to share the good news of Jesus Christ with others, using our unique position in the biker community to reach people who might not otherwise hear the Gospel.

  • Share your testimony naturally
  • Invite others to church and events
  • Pray for opportunities to witness
  • Be ready to answer questions about faith

Serve Others

Following Jesus' example of service, we're called to help others in need, both within and outside the biker community.

  • Participate in charity rides and events
  • Help fellow riders in need
  • Volunteer in your community
  • Support local causes and organizations

Build Community

We're called to build bridges between the Christian community and the biker community, creating opportunities for fellowship and growth.

  • Welcome new members warmly
  • Foster fellowship and friendship
  • Create safe spaces for spiritual growth
  • Encourage and support one another

Pray for Others

Prayer is a powerful tool for ministry. We should pray for our fellow riders, our communities, and opportunities to share Christ.

  • Pray for fellow riders' safety and well-being
  • Pray for opportunities to witness
  • Pray for your community and its needs
  • Pray for the ministry's growth and impact

Grow in Faith

We can't give what we don't have. We need to continually grow in our own faith and understanding of God's Word.

  • Study the Bible regularly
  • Attend church and Bible studies
  • Seek mentorship and discipleship
  • Share what you learn with others
"In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." — Matthew 5:16
